Your oldest brand is questionable. The Hudsons Bay Company company was incorporated by British royal charter in 1670 as The Governor and Company of Adventurers of England trading into Hudson's Bay. They still use their same crest and green red yellow and blue stripes as their brand.

Carnegie Porter, a Swedish beer brand, was registrered January 2 1885 at 11.10 am. The brand is still in use and the beer have been produced continously, and sold as Carnegie Porter, since the 1830's (or even 1820's).

I find it somewhat dubious that Lyle’s Golden Syrup would have been registered before Carnegie that same year. Can't find any of the brands on the Guiness Book of Records homepage.

Although not registered (because there were no registers) the brand, and company name, Stora Kopparberg was used for copper starting in late 13th century until at least 1992, when the mine was closed. A child company continues to use a similar logo but shortened to Stora for some of its paper products (the company itself is now called Stora Enso).

@Duperumann: It's probably best if you don't use the words "german" and "superior race" in the same sentence. I'm just sayin'.
