Since Christmas is right around the corner, we though we would share with you some of the classic, how be it odd, advertisements that have featured Santa Claus over the years. While many of these will made sense, some of them just prove the power of such a recognizable figure. Here are7 advertisements featuring Santa.

Apparently Santa smoke Chesterfields. This will cause some confusion later, since the man in red has been featured in a number of cigarette advertisements.

This now makes, Chesterfields, Lucky Strike, and Pall Mall have all hooked Santa. Mr. Claus was actually a very popular advertising figure during the big tobacco boom of the mid-1900s.
